Flea Market Spots will be FREE again in 2013 !!!

Flea Marketers and Crafters, 

August 17th and 18th, 2013 (Saturday and Sunday) will be our 30th Annual Antique and Collectors Show at Crystal Lake  Recreation Area. From Hastings, the area is located 10 miles south on Hwy 281 and 2 miles west on Hwys. 281/74  to the small town of Ayr, Ne—follow show signs.  Our 6th annual tractor drive will be on Friday, the 16th. 

In 2012 we offered FREE Flea Market space to all vendors in an effort to build this portion of our show and was a big success with many first time vendors.  Due to this fact, we have decided to offer FREE space for the 2013 show. 

Because the show will be in a new location with some trees, I will NOT have assigned spaces for you until I see how this year works out.  You are still asked to supply your own tables and chairs, and a canopy for shade as spaces are under the trees will be filled first.  Two (2) people per space/exhibit will be admitted free of charge; additional helpers will be required to pay the admission price of $5.00 per day.  Please fill out the form enclosed, either email me the information or ‘snail’ mail it to me as soon as possible. 

Another positive about this area is that electricity is available for campers.  There will be a park charge of $15.00 per day for electricity, payable at the office.  However, the 8 spaces closest to the flea market area is now filled as of 5/1/13.  Electricity is still available, just not near the Flea Market area. 

Is this your first visit to our show?  Let me tell you a little about us.  We are an association  who enjoys showing and educating the public about by-gone farming techniques through display of antique tractors and vehicles, small engines, field demonstrations, tractor pulls and games, children’s games, petting zoo, flea markets, raffles, continuous music, Sunday church service, special Sat. evening entertainment and much more.  We strive to add new events every year to make each year different.  We have food concessions, with a free will donation Friday noon meal; evening meals both Fri. and Sat.;  pancake breakfasts Sat. and Sun.; and many choices during the day.  The gates open at 7 a.m. 

You may start setting up on Friday after lunch unless other arrangements have been made with me.  Thanks for your consideration.
