To find out more information about the Platte Valley Antique Machinery Association please become a new member to our club.  Attached is a membership form.

Benefits of Joining:

Yearly membership fees are due in July; payable at the show, or before.

Initial membership will be extended to the following year if received after Jan. 1st.  Membership includes: individual – one vote; Family – two votes (children under the age of 18 and still living at home may be included as 1 of the 2 votes); Organization – one vote.

Monthly newsletter -10 per year and mailed to your home. August/September and November/December are combined into one newsletter each.

Monthly meetings – 10 per year on the 1st Sunday:  no meeting in September or December.  Minutes are included in the newsletter.  We try to so something different at the Oct., Nov., and March meetings like visiting area collections or museums.  All other meetings are potluck and held at Dyer Park (South of Hastings on Hwy 281) weather permitting.

Feb. meeting (Annual meeting as per By-laws):  Election of Officers – 2 officers and 2 board members.  Meeting is potluck lunch and held in Shelton, NE.  In the even year, the President and Vice President are elected along with 2 board members; odd year – the secretary and treasurer along with 2 board members are elected.  Everyone holds the term for 2 years and currently there are no term limits.   Board meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday each month.

Special Events:  Christmas Party/Dinner: held on 2nd Sunday in January at a nice restaurant with members being responsible for cost of their own meal; Annual Show:  2nd full weekend in July (membership is reduced by $5.00 if you help during the show).
